GDPR & Privacy
Introduction
Your privacy matters. This app is designed to help you learn Swedish without collecting unnecessary personal information. Below is a clear explanation of what data is collected, why it is collected, and how it is used.
Basic Tier Access
Logged-in Basic members can access the following learning tools:
- Sentence Builder
- Q&A Trainer
- Directions & Navigation
- Practice Nouns, Verbs, Adverbs, Pronouns, Conjunctions, Question Words, Time Expressions, Verb Particles, Determiners
- Number Practice
- Colour Practice
These experiences still respect the same minimal-data promise described below.
What We Collect (Free & Basic)
Whether you use the free tools or log in to Basic, the app collects only the minimum data required to keep the service running smoothly. This includes:
- Error logs — to help identify and fix technical issues
- The language you are using — so the app can display the correct interface
- Which tool the error came from — to improve specific training tools
All error reports are routed to the admin panel so the maintainer can fix issues quickly. That’s it. We do not collect your name, gender, browsing history, or any other personal identifiers for the Basic tier.
Why We Collect This Data
The small amount of data we collect is used solely for:
- Improving the quality and stability of the educational tools
- Understanding which features need refinement
- Providing basic feedback so you can revisit words or tasks you find difficult
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
No Tracking or Profiling
We do not track:
- Your gender
- Your location
- Websites you visit
- Your behaviour outside the app
The purpose of this project is educational — nothing more.
Data Storage & Security
Error logs and usage data are stored securely and used only for improving the app. No personal data is shared with external companies.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Know what data is collected
- Request deletion of any data associated with your use
- Use the app without providing personal information
If you have questions or wish to request data removal, you can contact the developer directly.
Final Statement
This app is built for learners, not for data collection. The goal is to create better educational tools and help you build confidence in Swedish — while respecting your privacy at every step.
